I love Anne of Green Gables and too bad the author didn't get to be buried according to her wishes. I have tried a couple of times to read Madame Bovary, without success. Ack, the British, I gotta love them in spite of myself, if that's correct English, maybe I meant in spite of themselves. I better quit while I'm ahead here. Great work, Roland. You're doing your part to keep them alive in our hearts.

Poor Oscar, he misjudged how fickle the public can be. I read Dorian Gray, and I wanted to see how it compared to the movies of that name. No comparison. The book by Wilde surpasses the movies. Bravo for France!

I love that Ralph De Palma pushed his car over the finish line, what a media moment that must have been! And if Frenchmen loved it, I say Viva la France again.

I admit I've never read Anne of Green Gables, I tried and couldn't get into it, just not my taste. That’s why we have two parties.”

Oh my. How true that is. When you look at it in this way isn't all of the arguments that are Right and Left-based absolutely ridiculous??? We The People somehow missed that critical point when the two parties stopped fighting one another and started working together. That only leaves We The People to fight amongst ourselves.Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14932408372240147454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8681132888977525688.post-30353294981196360982014-04-24T09:06:51.751-05:002014-04-24T09:06:51.751-05:00Elephant's Child:
