If AGENT CARTER can give women an intelligent woman for the female audience to root for, I think it will do great.

VR:
Sadly, publishers and studio heads are terribly old-fashioned! :-(

Hilary:
If you hadn't already guessed -- I am a big kid at heart. There truly are other ways to show female vulnerability. Although, I tried to do that with my first novel and it didn't go over well. That's why I primarily write men now. :)

VR BarkowskiVR Barkowskihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04927993233682731113noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8681132888977525688.post-81083685727422441862014-05-12T10:16:25.935-05:002014-05-12T10:16:25.935-05:00She can fit into my universe, period. she is a str...She can fit into my universe, period. she is a strong character and if done right, maybe names we know like stark, whomever the grandfather to the new person on the SHIELD team... I think it will work and if not she can come to my house for tea, stay as long as she would like.Jeremy [Retro]https://www.blogger.com/profile/09912258155288958827noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8681132888977525688.post-12195810612840635442014-05-12T10:00:36.396-05:002014-05-12T10:00:36.396-05:00The way that the Marvel movies and the TV show are...The way that the Marvel movies and the TV show are gaining traction off of one another reminds me of MTV and music. Back when MTV first launched, the artists that knew how to work it used those videos to propel their songs even higher on radio charts. And when the song was from a soundtrack the MTV, radio, movie combo bounced off one another in a blockbuster sort of way.

I think that part of the reason this has been so successful for AGENTS OF SHIELD is Joss Whedon. He is comfortable in both movies and television and can see the advantage of working them together. Very much looking forward to Agent Carter on the small screen.Robinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14932408372240147454noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8681132888977525688.post-86206190965423784882014-05-11T22:26:37.492-05:002014-05-11T22:26:37.492-05:00David:

I usually enjoy the comic movie remakes just because.

I would think a lot of women who were pushed out of jobs when the war was over felt the same. Second class.D.G.
