But this is essentially what I do while writing my novel.<br /><br />I piece it together. I don't mind writing a scene as it comes to me, then working towards a bridge several pages or even several chapters ahead. I write myself notes in different colored text. With art and colored pens/pencils, post it notes of rainbow colors.
