Y Is For My Inspiration To Have Samuel McCord In Key Moments of History

Did you watch any of these episodes?

Lucas charges too much for me to purchase the DVD collections!

Due to its enormous budget, the series was canceled in 1993.

However, following the series' cancellation,

four made-for-television films were produced from 1994 to 1996 in an attempt to continue the series.

In 1999, the series was re-edited into 22 television films under the title The Adventures of Young Indiana Jones.

HAS A TV SHOW EVER INSPIRED YOU
IN YOUR WRITING?

  1. I don't remember seeing this show at all. You've made me realize the vast number of TV shows there have been and let's not mention movies.

I hardly watch TV any more either. Habits come in their season, right?

  3. I was inspired by the great writing in "Breaking Bad." Every event has consequences. http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51c26uEu70L._BO2,204,203,200_PIsitb-sticker-v3-big,TopRight,0,-55_SX278_SY278_PIkin4,BottomRight,1,22_AA300_SH20_OU01_.jpg

  4. Yes I did watch this show a few times, and liked it, but I preferred the Harrison Ford versions. I can't think of a tv series that inspired me unless it might be The Twilight Zone. . . I loved tv scifi and still do. But I don't watch tv a lot. I do like the NASA unexplained files and the Close Encounters episodes. . . of real life sightings I think I want to believe in aliens. . .

  5. I watched it a couple times but never got hooked.
The orginal Battlestar Galactica inspired me to write CassaStar.

  6. I didn't watch this one. In fact, I hadn't even heard of it until today. Hmmm. How do these things get by me???

After reading your A to Z posts, I think you might enjoy my TV blog. I don't yak it up much (and there aren't many followers), but if you like new and old and cancelled TV... you might be interested.

Leonard Nimoy did a great series of Unexplained Topics that I liked very much.

  8. I remember the Young Indiana Jones show -- it really must have been tough to keep up as a series. Lucas would have had an easier time of it now with cable and their "seasons" for some shows of only about 10 episodes.

I know some shows have inspired me with certain stories, and if it weren't so late and I weren't so tired, I could name a couple!
