Between uninformed complacency and
misinformed panic,
there is a rational middle ground:
PRUDENT CAUTION
Do you watch Tim Pool on YouTube?
He quoted Liz Specht who used her degrees
to use math,
not speculation,
to make some
revealing comments.

When you go grocery shopping
this week,
buy a little extra,
asking what you might need
if you are quarantined.
Midnight has a final word:
It is a threat, but again, nobody panic.
ReplyDeleteThose numbers he quoted for cases in May and what it will do to the medical side of things don't even begin to touch what it will do to the economy.
Good time for everyone to be as healthy as possible and just not catch it.
There's the rub: not catch it! With asymptomatic carriers being able to go up to 14 days without showing symptoms and still being infectious -- the person in sitting in the bus or the desk next to you could be infecting you without you realizing it! Then, you catch it, not show symptoms, and infect others unknowingly!
DeleteThe economy is in shambles. It will take years to recover. Sigh.
Midnight comforts himself with the thought that if I die, he will have something to eat at least. Me!
