Weekends nearly do me in these days.
Sunday I worked from 8 A.M. to 5 A.M.
the following day!
And words tend to dry up when writing at 5 A.M.
On Mother's Day, I was going to post on
singular mothers with sharp edges,
singular mothers with sharp edges,
but blood runs kept me from doing that.
And Midnight and I slept most of Monday
But I did awaken to find that somehow over the weekend, I had sold 64 copies of my 3 Native American audio books!
A nice surprise, right?
Another one is this riveting
Netflix series
I discovered.
You might try and check it out.
What have all of you been doing these past days?
Hi Roland - I bet you're working hard ... well done is all I can say. I've just been hunkering down and not worrying the populace by doing anything stupid. I'm helping myself - by sorting my own life out - so that's clear for the coming years. I bet you and Midnight had a long long sleep. Congratulations on those sales. Look after yourself - and stay safe ... all the very best - Hilary
ReplyDeleteThanks so much, Hilary. Today is also a day off, and Midnight thinks I was once a cat in that I slept so much today! :-)
DeleteThat's a lot of audio book! Maybe it was a book club?
ReplyDeleteThat is a good surmise, Alex. Maybe? Whatever it was, I am not complaining! :-)
DeleteUp all night literally, that was me working on my blog post two weekends ago! So I know where you're coming from. Glad to hear you sold separately real copies of your audio books!
ReplyDeleteCorrection: I meant to say "several copies of your audio book". Boy I really hate those auto corrections.
ReplyDeleteUp all day and most of the night is no fun, but ill patients depend on rare blood ... so I help as best I can. And auto-correct sometimes seems to have a mean sense of humor! :-)
DeleteCongrats on the book sales. Thanks for all you do. Rest well.
ReplyDeleteI'm getting to bed early tonight to face another gauntlet of blood runs for the next 5 days! Ouch! Thanks for the good thoughts, Mary/
