I've tried. If you are going to do something, give it all you've got. H P Lovecraft and Stephen King gave me the idea of creating a connected universe with common threads, enemies, and heroes.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words.
Smart to have connections throughout your books.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alex. I hoped readers would be intrigued by my side characters and want to read novels that centered on them.
DeleteTo me, it gave each adventure the semblance of happening in a real world that held myriad opportunities for my readers to explore.
You have been busy!!!
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing what you can do if you don't have a social life. :-)
DeleteCool. I love books that have "cross-overs."
ReplyDeleteMe, too. It makes it appear as if the adventures take place in a larger world, a bit like ours. :-)
DeleteAnd I thought my life was busy. hehehe\
ReplyDeleteAnna from elements of emaginette
Between being a first responder and writing, I am pretty busy all right!
