THE ZEN OF SNOOPY

I worked 24 of the weekend's 48 hours and drove 600 miles! Whew!

I am past drained

so Snoopy has graciously decided to do a guest post for me.

Say thanks to the beagle, will you?
(My thanks to Peanuts Worldwide, LLC)

Have a Joe Cool Day!

For a fascinating read go to Nissa Annakindt's post, WHAT THE GREAT WRITERS HAD THAT WE DON'T:

  6. Sleep on Roland.Must have been quite the weekend for the blood guy. I see they're making a Peanut's movie. Coming soon. Thanks for an entertaining post. :-)

I haven't read the 'great writers' link, but I will. Just thinking about it...they had editors and a gazillion helpers as they crafted their story. We don't. What can we do about that? HNY!

    1. The Peanut Movie already hit these shores. With my blood runs, I will have to wait until it hits DVD!

I slept most of the day, much to my kitten's dismay. He is a wound-up toy soldier now!!!

I think you will enjoy the article. The culture has changed since those times -- I no longer think a Thomas Wolfe would find a publisher now. :-(

  7. I like Joe Cool, it's the dark glasses and his philosophy. I tried to leave a comment on Nissa's blog but it disappeared. Oh well. . .

    1. I tried to leave a comment on her blog, too. I think it also disappeared. I hate when that happens!

I thought of you when I put up that picture of Joe Cool, knowing that you liked him. :-)

    2. I think you have to have a WordPress blog to comment. I have a test blog on WordPress ... but only one post ... yet it allows me to leave comments on WordPress blogs I guess. Strange system, right?

  8. Thanks, Snoopy, for giving Roland a well-deserved and much needed rest. Tuck him into bed, okay?

    1. Thanks for sending this link to Lenny. He sent me a wonderful Christmas card, and I sent him a copy of Hibbs.

      I miss no Schulz. :-(

  10. https://365movies.is/movies/the-peanuts-movie-04672.html is a surprisingly engrossing watch. It's beautiful to look at, rather faithful to the spirit of the comic strip, and a much better movie than you'd expect at fandango
