Makes you think, right?
And does our culture even
believe in Evil anymore?
There is only what works and what doesn't.
Evil is in the eye of the beholder.
What you call evil, I might call emotional free thinking.
God is not dead, for He never existed.
To be adult is to put away childish things,
to shrug off superstitious nonsense,
to embrace the thrill that comes from
living life fully
unfettered by the dusty restraints of last century.
Have you noticed that the longer you sit in a dark restaurant, the better you can see?
The room has not become brighter ...
Your eyes have just become accustomed to the dark.
I still prefer CASABLANCA
to 50 SHADES OF GREY.
I believe I have become a dinosaur
Do you think our culture's eyes have become
accustomed to the dark?
I wonder what Helen Keller would say??
ReplyDeleteThat there is a darkness of the soul that is worse than any blindness.
DeleteExactly. And many only know that darkness. They won't even see the light when He comes.
DeleteSo many in this world are self-blinded sadly. :-(
DeleteDarkness of the soul is basically self-absorbed thinking and so won't consider the well being of others they are around and won't truly consider the higher being that's in all people and things and that many of us call God. When people think like this in such egotistical destructive manners, that is evil. And so as Roland said, that is worse than any blindness. And so yes, I think our society's eyes have been accustomed to the dark morally speaking, and therefore insensitive to the well-being of humanity and so have no true sense or concern for God/ess.
DeleteRegarding the video, I've always believed we're too dependent on computer technology as fascinating as that technology is.
DeleteI think a big part of our culture has been blinded by power. Happy Day tomorrow! So glad you are my friend. (I will be at the doctor and may not have time to blog. but will think of you.)
ReplyDeleteAs I will be thinking of you when you visit the doctor. Many prayers are headed your way! :-)
