I'VE SHANG-HAIED ALEX CAVANAUGH. AGAIN!

Ghost of Mark Twain here.

Well, now I ain't rightly here, mind you.

What do you mean "Of course you're not here! You're a ghost!"

You don't have to be parsnippery about it, folks. I know I'm a ghost. And I know I ain't here either ghost or otherwise!

I slipped up on Roland over there at Alex's computer newspaper:

http://alexjcavanaugh.blogspot.com/ with the Borg Queen as my date, don't you know?

Head on over there and see the fireworks, children!

  3. Roland, Is parsnippery your word for persnickety or Twain's?

I've already visited Alex's blog, and could only name two of those movies. Day after Tomorrow however is imprinted in my mind (see my comment on Alex's blog if you want to know why.)

I like the cover of The Rival, but that outfit didn't come 'off the rack'.

Good luck with The Rival, Roland.

  4. Patsy:
Mark likes it. He loves twisting known words, making them his own.

    Alex:
What can I say? You're a popular guy! At least with ghost and bald-headed female predators!!

    Thanks, L. Diane!

    D G:
Like I told Patsy, Mark loves to twist words about, making them his own. No, that outfit certainly didn't come off the rack! And Alice's rival, Becca, nearly came off the stage when she wore it in 1834 New Orleans!

You can download a sample of THE RIVAL for free to see if you like it, Roland

  6. That quote is hilarious. Twain is great for funny and thoughtful quotes.
