Serial fiction made sense 100 years ago, when authors such as Charles Dickens and Leo Tolstoy published some of their most famous works in weekly installments.

AMAZON brought it back.

I IMPROVED IT.

FOR THE NEXT THREE MONTHS
LUCIFER'S ORPHAN
will come out in 80,000 word "Acts."

Since this Trilogy Serial
is
THE FIRST OF ITS KIND

Each "ACT" will cost
a mere $1.99

THREE LINKED NOVELS
A MONTH APART!

The FIRST SERIAL CHAPTER IS OUT! http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F5M84I8

NOW FOR MY VERY FIRST BLOGFEST!

AND MENTIONING MY SERIAL TRILOGY, OF COURSE, AND WHAT YOU LIKE AND DO NOT LIKE ABOUT IT.

Should you post a review of my LUCIFER'S ORPHAN that would be great.

In fact, posting a review with give you a SECOND
entry in my BLOGFEST CONTEST!

One of my blogfesters will win --

  2. Good Luck with this contest, Roland! I haven't read that many scary books, it's not my first choice.

    A great idea for the Halloween month, though. That's a lot of reading - 3 X 80,000!

  3. Thanks, Alex.

    D.G.:
To enter the contest, you just have to post about books which unsettled or frightened you. IN COLD BLOOD did that for me!

And you only have to read the first ACT to review it. Halloween I thought was the right season for my Trilogy Serial. :-)

  4. In Cold Blood scared me, too, Roland, and Helter Skelter: both true stories. Not only is truth stranger than fiction, it's scarier!

I'll have to see how the remainder of the month shakes out before I sign up, but I LOVE Halloween. In Salem, it's a month long celebration, which (witch?) I find a little scary. We'll see how it goes.

  5. I'm in! Scary books are one of my more favorite topics, so this will be a lot of fun.

Halloween is a month long celebration for me as well! I keep meaning to go to Salem for the Halloween season.

  6. VR:
A month long celebration? That would be something to see ... but not at midnight! Like you, I feel the monsters with the human faces and murderous intents to be the most scary!

    Steven:
Thanks! SALEM'S LOT was one of those books which scared me more than a little! For the entire month of October, I watch my favorite horror movies ... each one has a hero/heroine you can root for -- not just spotlighting the monster or creature. :-)

  9. Cool! I'm in. I totally freaked myself out with some of the books I read...

Uhm... do you want us to sign up with the link to the actual post? Or let you know in comments when we've posted?
