  1. I'm sorry! Hope you have some good drugs. Get some rest - be better tomorrow.

  2. Alex:
Thanks. The pain killers make me dopey so I will not be able to take them tomorrow when I work the weekend solo. Whew!

Visit the link -- it is quite a treat. :-)

Hope the pain and the bleeding diminish - soon.

  4. Can't stop the bleeding? In pain? What?

Sorry Roland, but I haven't been on the internet much these last few days. Hence, I have not read your posts ... as I usually do!

Take good care of yourself xo

  5. Hope you feel better soon.

Slow down your movements if you can't take much or any of the pain killers for work. Easy does it. You can only do what has to be done. Don't push yourself, as you can have a relapse. Wishing you a quick recovery from the worst of it.

  6. Elephant's Child:
The doctor called me personally late last night, checking on me which I thought was nice of him.

Yes, putting ice on it has helped with the bleeding.

Alice Wentworth has offered to finish the job on my ear but I said NO THANKS! :-)

    Wendy:
I had another cancer surgery: this time on my ear -- wider and deeper than expected!

Just call me Van Gogh. :-)

    D.G.:
Thanks so much for the email yesterday. It meant so much.

I am sleeping most of yesterday and today. I am really weak which I didn't expect.

My Lakota ancestors would be so ashamed.

But Walt Longmire has only part of one ear, so I have become like him now! I even have a Stetson.

Thanks for caring. I am going back to bed now and try to dream up the next chapter in my book. :-)

  7. Crikey, not another surgery. I am very sorry to hear.

I hope that this is the end of it. Take care, Roland.

  11. Hi Roland - I'm late .. but I sincerely hope the bleeding has stopped and the pain too. Sounds as though the doctor is being caring in checking up ..

It's resting up that will help .. if you can get some of that ..

    With many thoughts - Hilary
