  1. Hi, Roland,

Congratulations to Heather and her fantastic new cover reveal! How exciting to have the final novel of the series.

I was thinking about you tonight as I was at the gym and saw the news with the hurricane heading your way.

Stay safe my friend... I'll be sending positive vibes and praying for you and the people of New Orleans.

Hurricanes was the major reasons why I moved of South Florida.

I am so happy for Heather. I wonder what her next epic will be? I wouldn't want to live in South Florida during hurricane season either! Still every region of our country has some weather hazard: mudslides, forest fires, earthquakes, tornados, blizzards, freezing cold, etc.

Life is so precarious no matter where you live.

If we were always conscious of the fact that people precious to us are frighteningly mortal, hanging not even by a thread, but by a wisp of gossamer, perhaps we would be kinder to them and more grateful for the love and friendship they give to us.

Glad you, Heather, Donna, Siv, and Shelly are my friends. You are all appreciated!

    Donna:
McCord is a laid-back sort of supernatural protector. :-)

I am thrilled for Heather as well!

    Siv:
I know Heather appreciates your happiness for her. As for me, staying safe is out of the question. As a rare blood courier, I must be out in the terrible weather, for people need blood especially in the harsh weather.

    Shelly:
Have as good a time at work as you can. Me? Being out in a monsoom will at least not be boring! I know Heather appreciated your tweeting about her cover and new book! :-)

    Have you evacuated yet?

  7. Alex:
I know that Heather appreciates your support. I volunteered in New Orleans these two days off I had.

Rare blood couriers do not evacuate. They stay and help as best they can.
