WHEN YOU LIVE FOREVER ...

WHEN YOU LIVE FOREVER ...
                         WHAT DO YOU LIVE FOR?

Donna Hole has written a fascinating review of my book
on her blog:

Come check it out!

Long, long ago, Empress Meilori Shinseen was worshipped as Sekhmet.

Before that she was the model for the Sphinx:

{Sphinx partially excavated – 1878 - image in the public domain}

Sekhmet, She Who Devours, Empress of Infinity ...

Meilori Shinseen has been called all of these and many more.

All who gaze upon her terrible beauty find the breath caught in their throats.

Her gait is fluid, coiled as a cat's, graceful as the shadow of a swan flitting upon the silver glass of a moonlit lake.

Meilori is wise with many summers, cloaked in shimmers of silent majesty, and as unpredictable as a hunting jungle cat.
Just as the sun soars over the darkest shadows, and the stars abide eternal in the endless night,
Meilori pursues a peace and a love that has so long been denied her.
Now, that she has found her long-lost love, evil threatens her People
and to defend them she must become a person that may no longer be capable of love.

  2. Thanks, Trisha F:
Meilori is multi-dimensional and haunting in her isolation and longing for love. May Your New Year Be Beautiful!

  4. I plan on doing something similar for your book. I've been on Holiday, so I didn't have the time. Have a great New Year!

  5. David:
Thank you so very much. I slept through my holiday. LOL. I worked the weekend through, driving over 500 miles with 6 hours sleep total the whole 2 days! Ouch.

I know the ghost of Mark Twain will like what you do -- and he'll put in a good word for you with Meilori (she's so sensitive!) :-)

  6. I read Donna's review, and it was excellent. Just let me get my time-stopper working again, and I'll sit down with your book. =)

    Cheers!
