E is for ENDGAMƎ and EERIE, INDIANA

I am super-sentimental.  I have watched all but the last episode of ENDGAMƎ --

This way, my hero is still playing chess,

solving crimes,

and coming closer to the identity of who murdered his own wife. ...

all the while trapped inside an expensive hotel his bruised mind refuses to let him leave.

Forced to solve crimes for the money to stay inside his expensive prison,

a chess master matches wits with murderers and worse.

Do yourself a favor and watch ENDGAMƎ on Hulu.

THEN TRAVEL TO EERIE, INDIANA

It never quite lived up to its promise,

but it is a great show just to unwind after a hard day or to watch with your children.

A total of nineteen episodes were produced.

Two young friends are faced with bizarre scenarios,

which include discovering a sinister group of intelligent dogs that are planning on taking over the world,

and meeting a tornado hunter who is reminiscent of Captain Ahab.

They also confront numerous urban legends such as Bigfoot and a still-living Elvis Presley.

Although the show was host to an avalanche of jokes, it also featured a serious X-Files-like tone.

If you can find an inexpensive DVD collection or find it on Netflix,

you will enjoy your trip to a most strange city.

  1. This time, I *think* I've heard of both these shows, but I might be getting mixed up with Ender's Game. Really need to get Netflix, but then I fear I wouldn't get anything else done!

  2. I've heard of both these shows, but never caught them. I'm very impressed anymore with the growing number of very good shows and series--so many shows and books to catch up on!

  3. I've not watched Endgame, but Eerie? Yep. Loved that show to watch with my kiddos. Okay, I must admit, I borrowed a DVD copy and watched it again recently.

    I will watch Endgame, soon.

Do you have HULU? ENDGAME is exclusive to it. It is where I first noticed it. I think you would enjoy it.

    Helena:
It seems lately that TV has started showing shows that interest me after a long hiatus of boring me. :-)

    Teresa:
Another Eerie fan! I have company. :-) I know your children must have enjoyed it. I think you will enjoy ENDGAME.

    Jeremy:
I wanted to share some good shows that I think slipped past everyone's attention. How about that latest AVENGERS trailer? Black Widow and Captain America fighting as a team again. :-)

    Alex:
If you have access to HULU, you can easily watch all the episodes of ENDGAME. Best of luck tomorrow with the debut of DRAGON OF THE STARS!!

    Hilary:
The great thing about EERIE is that each episode is short about 25 minutes long. :-)

It came and went quickly. It was recommended to me, and now I am passing it on to my friends! I think intelligent cats have already beat the dogs to it though!! :-)

  11. I've never visited any of those midwestern states, I've always hung close to the coast. I do like chess but haven't played it for a while. Sounds like an interesting show. Good Luck with Rival! You have quite a collection on audio, Roland.

  12. D.G.:
I only visited the middle states on my way from Michigan to Louisiana and back again for a visit when very young. ENDGAME is a fun show, coming at solving mysteries from a unique angle. Try it on HULU.

I am trying to expand my books in all three mediums, print, ebook, and audio. Who knows? It may even have results! :-)
