HOW OLD ARE YOU? IWSG Post

Or rather -- how old is your blog?

How old is your blog?

How has the world and you

changed since your first post?

The memories for me refuse to stay locked away but climb out to urge me to stay fresh and young-at-heart.

Can you remember your first post?

Are you close to being the same

person you were then?

How many friends have

you lost

along the years?

In your blog's comments

they live again.

What a happy surprise, right?

If you're wondering --

Here is my first post:

Give congratulations to Damyanti Biswas

for her 15 years of blogging!

Tell her I sent you.

  1. What a lovely way to start the year. And yes, Damyanti has given us a lot of blogging help along the way. Good luck with 2023.

  3. Congrats to Damyanti. She's been on such a journey and it's great to see her success. I'll hit 12 years blogging this year. It feels like the world has changed immeasurably. But I don't know if I'm different myself. Still feeling my way as I was back then.

    1. Feeling your way is a good thing to do these days since the world has become something of a mine field!

  4. I started my blog in 2008, so I guess I'm in my 15th year. Wow. Scary how fast the time passed. I was online for the first time in 1994 over at Novel.Doc with my friend Keith Pyeatt and many others. It was the beginning of a wonderful friendship. The internet was new, I was young, and the world was my lobster, I mean oyster. I've learned so much, my head actually aches. These days I'm trying not to forget what I've learned. Happy 4th New Day, Roland. Thank you for the New Year's e-card. It was beautiful and it made me cry.

    1. Sadly, I've lost track of how many friends I've lost. Too many.

  5. Happy New Year! I started my blog back in 2009, and it's changed a bit since then. I've changed a bit since then, and I hope for the better.

  6. I've been around for a while and only go back to re-read my posts if I need to make room--delete them--for more. hehehe

    Yeah, I'm that lazy. ;-P

    1. You've been too busy being creative to notice the time passing I think. :-)

    1. Yes, changes both good and bad. May 2023 hold more good than bad for both of us.
