HOW TO MARKET YOUR AUDIO BOOK

1.) MAKE A SOUND CLOUD PAGE to showcase a few of your audio books like I did:

Take a listen why don't you?
There is a promoted book ahead of mine:
the price you pay for a free site.

2.) OFFER FREE AUDIO DOWNLOADS FOR HONEST REVIEWS:

ACX will give you codes for free downloads.  Use them to create interest.

Just give me your email address, and I will send you the code for a free audio of RETURN OF THE LAST SHAMAN

3.) REQUEST REVIEWS FROM SITES WHICH OFFER REVIEWS -

A simple Google search of “audio book reviewers” gave me:

  4. http://audiobookjungle.com/about/review-policy/

  1. Don't know if I'll ever do an audio version of one of my books, but I really admire you, Roland, for going through all the work and preparation that venue must take. Me, I'm still trying to gear up to publish two more novels; trouble is the screenwriting has really distracted me.

Seems like you and I just don't have enough time to write as much as we'd like.

    1. Audio lends a whole new dimension to your reading pleasure. It is like listening to a radio drama.

Yes, audio's have a lot of work for the narrator to accomplish to make one. My Stetson's off to each and every one of them, especially Robert Rossmann who is both a stage actor and stage director!

It is becoming increasingly hard for me to find time to write as once I did. Sigh!

  2. Hi Roland - it's great to have the tips to hand so to speak. Especially as I know none of this ... fascinating to read what's available - thanks so much for posting. Cheers Hilary

    1. I try to help smooth the path for those who have similar dreams. I had no idea of how to do any of this until I found myself in the need to market!
