I HOPE THIS HAS HELPED MY FELLOW AUDIO BOOK AUTHORS.
Don't know if I'll ever do an audio version of one of my books, but I really admire you, Roland, for going through all the work and preparation that venue must take. Me, I'm still trying to gear up to publish two more novels; trouble is the screenwriting has really distracted me.
ReplyDeleteSeems like you and I just don't have enough time to write as much as we'd like.
Audio lends a whole new dimension to your reading pleasure. It is like listening to a radio drama.
DeleteYes, audio's have a lot of work for the narrator to accomplish to make one. My Stetson's off to each and every one of them, especially Robert Rossmann who is both a stage actor and stage director!
It is becoming increasingly hard for me to find time to write as once I did. Sigh!
Hi Roland - it's great to have the tips to hand so to speak. Especially as I know none of this ... fascinating to read what's available - thanks so much for posting. Cheers Hilary
ReplyDeleteI try to help smooth the path for those who have similar dreams. I had no idea of how to do any of this until I found myself in the need to market!
DeleteYou are a master at how to market. Love the tips!
ReplyDeleteIf only I were a master! But thanks for thinking so. I want to help my friends not stumble as much as I did learning this. :-)
DeleteExcellent list, Roland!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Alex. And double thanks for tweeting about this post!! :-)
