We just had a blood drive entitled
HOMETOWN HERO.
Only 6 donated but they are heroes to me.
Each day is Christmas Day
if we choose to
give more than we take.
The ghost of Mark Twain reminds me that
"The best way to cheer yourself up
is to try to cheer someone else up."
We both still miss Midnight.
He snickers:
"A man who carries a cat
by the tail learns something
he can learn in no other way!"
Need a Hometown Hero?
Mark suggests to be one yourself:
"Kindness is the language
that the deaf can hear
and the blind can see."
Have a great new week.
Dear Roland ... I do hope things work out for you ... all the very best - Hilary
ReplyDeleteMe, too! And Midnight as well. It is hard to find an apartment in a city nearly destroyed!
