DeleteJust too many shows. If it doesn't hook me in the first three episodes, I move on. Everyone says The Expanse is great, but it didn't hook me either.
ReplyDeleteAny new show takes 3 episodes to their feet under them it seems. The Expanse and Wynonna are both shows that did that. I endured and was rewarded. We like what we like, right? To me Games of Throne started out torture porn, and I just couldn't enjoy it. I am, of course, in the minority on that! :-)
DeleteThe Expanse hooked me from the 1st episode. Kenneth has never missed an episode of Supernatural & he dined on Firefly. You've made me curious enough to watch the 1st season(s) of Winona Earp; (a work in progress). I thank you Roland, for serving as an inspiration for 20 years now; enabling my curiosity to read great authors, and watch outstanding shows. Inspiration is your Forte. I've always been a sucker for anything with the name/title - "Earp".
