After one of the worst work weekends I can remember ...
And that includes 2 hurricanes one right after another, a flood, a freeze, and a tornado!
Exhausted, I wrote the first 770 revised words for
NO RESHOOTS FOR DEATH.
So few words to feel such pride right?
It is 1947,
A cursed train ride from Zurich to Vienna,
A resurrected spy reunited with her lost heart,
their love feeling like a fuse burning towards dynamite.
Here is the tune that ran through my head
while writing it.
That you could write after all that is quite amazing.
ReplyDeleteI heard of Kick-started but this weekend was overdoing it! I am so grieved to hear of Jeremy Hawkins. :-(
DeleteGood grief! Not again, Roland. I'm so sorry to hear that news. However, 700+ words is quite a good number boast about. BTW, the music was perfect.
ReplyDeleteYes, that music inspired me. Sigh. I'd wave a white flag if I thought it would do any good! Thanks, Lee, for being my friend. :-)
DeleteI agree with Alex above. I will read Night Seasons soon. I gave it to myself for Christmas. Right now I'm reading about ants, just as fascinating as the humans you create. In their own way.
ReplyDeleteI love the photos on your blog. Yes, ants are certainly fascinating ... but not in my apartment! :-)
