MARDI GRAS has been cancelled in New Orleans ... this year

But in 1946, it has come back after

the 4 long War Years

And the undead can hardly wait

to walk among the living

hidden by their masks.

A mysteriously murdered

 woman is found

upon the cobblestones of

the infamous Pirates Alley,

disrupting the shooting of

Frank Capra's latest movie.

Twilight City,

starring Jimmy Stewart

and

Cesar Romero.

While in the Hotel Ponchatrain's

famed Caribbean Room,

the powerful party

as if there will be no tomorrow.

Which for some, there may not be

unless Lucas,

the former O.S.S. agent

now turned Prop Master,

prowls the shadows again.

Worse, he may lose not just his job,

but the life of the eerily resurrected woman

he thought lost to him forever.

For the deadly Santa Muerte

has a promise to keep

 to a Judas hiding among

the few people he trusts.

The audio book of this

is coming soon.

Tell your friends.

I could use a Mardi Gras

miracle!

  1. I'm commenting on Midnight's post. So happy he's back home. I bet he showed you he was a bit annoyed about the vet prison and all he had to go through. I so hope life will be peaceful for you both now.

    1. Midnight is a bit miffed at the dog downstairs who awakens at 5 A.M. and barks continuously to wake up everyone else! :-)

Midnight is still searching out the nooks and cranies of this loft. I bought him 5 scratching posts to have at it! He sleeps with me, glad to be out of vet prison. Thanks for caring, Inger.

  2. It's the right call although I imagine there will still be people out in the streets celebrating.

    1. After which there will be a renewed surge of Covid that is currently decimating New Orleans. Sigh.

  3. Yes, people will come. Fortunately there will be many weeks of vaccines before then.

    1. Those who are foolish enough to come will have most likely not taken the vaccine though. Sigh. :-(
